Welcome to the Interior Motives Design Awards 2007!

The Interior Motives Design Awards 2007 is open to students on a recognised graduate and post-graduate design course, anywhere in the world.

The competition begins with five lifestyle and scenario design briefs. Students can submit a design project in response to each separate design brief. The judging panel will then select the winning entry for each of the eight prize categories from all of the entries received. Students can also choose to refer to technical information from the Awards' sponsors for help with their projects (see tech links).

Category winners will each receive $500 in prize money, while the overall winner will win $5,000 (see prizes). Winners and runners-up will all be invited to the awards ceremony at Paris Motor Show on 29 September.

Registration opens at midnight GMT on 15 January 2007. Please register your intention to enter the Awards and read the registration and entry information carefully. The deadline for registration is 15 March 2007.

Please also read carefully the submission process section. Projects must be submitted in the format required in order to be considered. Deadline for initial project submissions is on the 30 April 2007, three months after the competition start, after which a shortlist of finalists will be chosen (for more information on deadlines see timeline).

Entries will be evaluated by an independent panel of senior automotive designers and non-automotive industry design professionals. Please see the evaluation process section.

Finalists will all be invited to the Awards ceremony on 29 September for announcement of the winners!
